School Skating

The school books ice time at a local arena and students enjoy an hour of skating a couple times during the winter months. There are separate times for junior and senior students.

Christmas program 

Each year, JKCS presents a Christmas program to celebrate our Lord’s birth and the true meaning of Christmas. Students participate through music, drama, set design, technical support and as a whole choir. 

Chapel

Student led chapels are hosted every two weeks.  We emphasize our school theme and meet for worship and reading God's word. Parents and community members are invited to attend

Team Events

Staff lead the whole school in fun and encouraging events throughout the year. Teams are made up of students from SK-8.

GRandParents' Day

We acknowledge that God has been faithful to many generations at JKCS. One of our most anticipated day is Grandparents and Grandfriends Day as we celebrate together the gift of Christian education, family, and community.  .

Class Trips

There are a variety of different trips that have been done: Lorne C. Henderson Conservation Area, Zekveld's Garden Market, Bluewater Gymnastics, Moore Museum, Pinery Provincial Park, and Greenview Aviaries. The Grade 8 class goes to Fair Glen Youth Camp for a multi-day outdoor education trip.
